consider this a memorial. on the night of april 8th, 2007, taiwan was robbed of a beautiful piece of history. in what is a suspected arson, the summer home of chaing kai shek has burned down. cks’ summer house had been turned into a museum. we visited the lovely home on our trip to taiwan last october. these pictures originally appeared in other taipei3 albums, but i have pulled out the cks summer house pictures here into a separate album.
